Sunrises and sunsets, misty mornings and moon-lit nights, hungry herons, lake-loving littles, and furry friends—these are just a few of the wonderful images captured by participants of the 2025 Picture Your Watershed photo contest.

This year, we received 133 submissions from across the Upper Tippecanoe River Watershed. We are incredibly thankful for every entry that celebrates what makes our land, lakes, and communities so special.

Congratulations to our Picture Your Watershed winners! Your submissions truly captured the heart of our watershed and inspired voters throughout the region.

The contest ran from July 1 through December 31, 2025, with public voting held in January 2026. The People’s Choice Award was won by a landslide with 88 votes. Tom Zahm’s “Morning mist lifts the curtain as autumn rehearses its composition” beautifully showcases the peaceful magic of Loon Lake.

Thank you to everyone who entered or voted in this year’s contest, and congratulations to all of our winners! Be sure to check out the winning photos—and stay tuned for details about Picture Your Watershed 2026, opening this July.
