Farewell to our dear friend, Mary A. Price

We are sad to learn of the passing of a great friend to The Watershed Foundation, Mary A. Price. 
You might remember that earlier this summer, we joined Mary and her family in celebration of her 110th birthday. She received well over 300 cards!
Several years ago, Mary established a philanthropic fund through The Watershed Foundation. Education had always been important to her. So was Lake Tippecanoe, so she established the Mary Price Education Fund at The Watershed Foundation, ensuring that her beloved lake and others in our watershed remain healthy for generations to come.
Lake Tippecanoe and her family’s cottage, The Playhouse, held a magical place in her heart. She enjoyed summers on the lake’s sparkling water for most of her life, building beautiful memories there that won’t soon be forgotten by those who knew her and who were fortunate enough to spend time at her side there. We will remember Mary just as she was in this photograph, soaking up the sun and loving her lake.
