After a month of significant voting action in The Watershed Foundation’s annual Picture Your Watershed Photo Contest, a winner has been declared: Tom Zahm of Loon Lake.
Zahm’s dreamy morning view of Loon Lake entitled “Rosey Loon Lake” garnered 442 votes, putting it firmly in the lead for the People’s Choice portion of the competition.
In all, the contest was viewed more than 27,000 times, had 175 entries, and received 1408 votes.
“Our annual photo contest provides a great opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the incredible beauty of life within our watershed,” said Jennifer Zartman Romano, communications coordinator for The Watershed Foundation. “Thank you to everyone who entered and shared their photography with us.”
