This holiday season, 13 wonderful local businesses and 13 generous individuals stepped up to match gifts to TWF through the end of the year – and our supporters rose to the challenge in a big way.
Together, donors and match sponsors raised a total of $208,151 for healthy lakes!
“I’m continually amazed at the generosity of our community,” said Paige Hubner, TWF Development & Operations Manager. “They show so much love for our lakes when they donate to protect them. We truly appreciate it!”
The money raised will provide critical support for TWF’s mission to protect and improve water quality in the Tippecanoe River Watershed. We’ll continue to craft innovative pollution solutions – including many new water quality projects underway or in the works this year – build powerful conservation partnerships, and inspire community members to do their part for clean water.
2024 match challenge sponsors included Aquatic Weed Control, Barbee Lakes Property Owners Association, Bartel Printing Company, CS Kern, EP Graphics, Lake City Bank, Lakeland Pier & Lift, Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Association, Maple Leaf Farms, Metcalf Payne & Bell, ProWake Watersports & Surf Shop, Smoker Craft Incorporated, Tom & Vicki Bolles, Ted & Kelly Burnworth, the Culver Family Foundation, Dave & Cynthia Illingworth, Kevin & Pam Kelly, Steve & Stacey Mattingly, Mike & Carol O’Connor, Janet Petro, Joe & Nancy Tynan, John & Martha Tynan, and several donors who wished to remain anonymous.
“We are so grateful for the incredible support during our year-end match challenge,” said Executive Director Lyn Crighton. “It means we can make an even bigger impact for our lakes and streams this year. It’s amazing to see what we can accomplish together to protect the lakes and water resources we all love.”
Thanks to the many generous businesses and individuals who made this one of our biggest year-end campaigns ever! Because of YOU, our incredible community of supporters, the work of prevention continues.
Here’s to a new year of taking action for healthy lakes—together.
