This summer, TWF is excited to welcome three talented college students to the team. Hannah, Lily, and Ami are all rising juniors majoring in a variety of environmentally-focused fields. Over the course of their internship, they’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in conservation practices, communications and outreach, fundraising, nonprofit administration, and so much more–all while helping take action for healthy lakes.

Hannah Weirick
Hannah studies Environmental Science with a focus on global missions at Cedarville University. During her summer with TWF, she’s hoping to learn more about active watershed conservation, including water quality testing and other best practices. A Columbia City native, she loves to raise farm animals, go hand fishing in rivers with her friends, and hang out with her family.
Welcome to the team, Hannah!
Lily Crighton
Lily is studying Sustainability and Public Policy at Indiana University Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI). She grew up on Lake Tippecanoe in North Webster and loves to be outdoors, especially hiking or on the lake, and to hang out with family and friends. As a TWF intern, she wants to learn more about nonprofit work and gain experience in the field, working on water quality.
Thanks for spending your summer with us, Lily!
Ami Howser
Ami is majoring in Aquatic Science at Purdue University. She lives in Fishers and loves to read (particularly mysteries) and listen to music (her favorite genres are pop and folk) in her spare time. During her internship, she’s especially interested in learning about conservation efforts in and around Lake Tippecanoe, a lake her family has loved for over 100 years.
