The Watershed Foundation is pleased to announce Brad Clayton as the newest Watershed Conservationist joining Sam St. Clair and Scott Zeigler. Brad is a North Webster native, who graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science. Brad has worked both with producers as a Yield-Pro Specialist with Harvest Land Co-op in Jay County Indiana, as well as in Oklahoma as a member of the Oklahoma State University Wheat Improvement Team. Currently he is the Education, Social Media, and Public Relations Manager at his family’s business Clayton Garden Center. Brad is also an Associate Supervisor for the Kosciusko Soil and Water Conservation District as well as the KSWCD representative on the Arrow Head Country Resource Conservation and Development Council.
The Watershed Conservationists help to identify and secure landowners/project sites in the watershed to participate in cost share programs in implementation of best management conservation practices regarding soil health and water quality, based on priority areas and pollutants of concern in those areas.
