Volunteers Make a Difference at Limitless Park

These volunteers are amazing! They totally rocked the United Way Day of Caring by making massive improvements to the healthy shoreline project at Winona Lake Limitless Park. They planted 500 new native plants along the lakeshore which will be protected with goose netting through the end of the season! They removed invasive trees and plants. They moved our beautiful interpretive sign to a place more visible to the public. And they brought the eco-border back to the surface to delineate the lawn from the plantings. They did all this with a smile and load of fun in the heat & humidity! We’re shouting out a great big thank you to this team from Zimmer Biomet!
