The Watershed Foundation Hires Communication Coordinator

The Watershed Foundation hired proven communicator Jane Santucci to serve as the organization’s Communication Coordinator.  Jane will work with each Committee to synthesize our work into different mediums for public consumption. “The valuable addition of Jane will help improve our communication process by amplifying our expertise in taking action to protect and improve water quality in our area lakes and streams,” The Watershed Foundation Executive Director Lyn Crighton said.

Jane joins The Watershed Foundation team as an experienced environmental communicator. She has worked with a handful of ecological non-profits throughout the State of Indiana. Her diverse experience ranges from story-telling to advertising and will help us further develop the organization. “Get ready to be more social with The Watershed Foundation,” Santucci said jokingly. She has shown us many ideas and plans to tell the stories of all the hard work folks in our area are already doing to protect our lakes and streams.

Jane moved to Indiana from Florida to start her on-air career as a Multimedia Journalist at WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Indiana. Following her time at WTHI, she worked as the Communications Director for the law firm Sacopulos, Johnson & Sacopulos. Simultaneously, she served as an environmental columnist for the Terre Haute Tribune-Star. She earned her bachelor’s in Multimedia Journalism from Florida Atlantic University and her Master’s in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University.

When Jane is not working to protect our delicate environment, she enjoys spending time in nature on foot or bicycle.  She has a 3-year old son whom she enjoys exposing to all the wonders of the world.
