The Watershed Foundation is excited to celebrate our 25th year of taking action to preserve and protect the lakes and streams of the Upper Tippecanoe River Watershed.
As part of this celebration, we’re launching a summer contest we hope you’ll enjoy. This photo contest is a little different…we’re looking for historic and vintage photos of our lakes and watershed!
For our Memories of the Lakes contest, we are inviting you to send vintage or historic photos of happy times at the lake along with a few words about why this memory is important to you or your family. We are looking for photos that are more than 25 years old and a memory that is no more than 500 words.
The contest begins June 25 and will continue through Labor Day 2022. All entries must be received before 12 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
More information will be coming soon about the prizes for this contest. In the meantime, start looking through your treasured family photos of lake days and start writing down your memories. Memories and images may be used in future TWF publications.
Send your photo and 500-word memory via email to: jennifer@watershedfoundation.org
OR mail a non-returnable photograph and your typed memory to: Memories of the Lakes c/o The Watershed Foundation, PO Box 55, North Webster, IN 46555.
P.S. Our annual Picture Your Watershed photo contest will be held from Labor Day through the end of the year!
