Double your gift to TWF by giving during ‘match challenges’

Do you appreciate our mission of taking action to improve water quality in our lakes and streams? Do you know that your financial contribution helps us get closer to our goals and makes it possible to complete more projects each year?

If you’ve been considering making a financial contribution to The Watershed Foundation and you’ve been looking for “the perfect” opportunity to do it – consider making that gift during one of our upcoming match challenges. During match challenges, thanks to the generosity of other donors, your gifts can be doubled. That means more money to help us complete more projects that truly make a difference in improving our water quality.

“We have so many projects that really need to be done. We may not currently have the funding available to do those projects – but quite literally, we cannot afford not to do them,” said Lyn Crighton, executive director of The Watershed Foundation.

This year, there will be three opportunities for donors to make gifts and get them doubled. Those match challenges include:

• Memorial Day Business Match Challenge – May 29-June 9
• Lake Association Match Challenge – July 1-8
• End of Year Business Match Challenge – Thanksgiving to New Years Eve

Also, when you’re considering making a gift, check with your employer to see if they also have a matching program available. In that way, you may be able to triple your gift!

“We also sometimes have opportunities to triple donations, so it’s definitely worth giving us a call at the office to find out what matching opportunities are currently available,” Crighton added.
