Ask Lyn: Many Ways to Give

Monday, December 5, 2022

Dear Lyn:

I know that The Watershed Foundation’s Business Match Challenge is currently going on, but I wonder if there are any other ways I can help support the work you do financially?

Signed, Thoughtful Thea

Dear Thea,

Thanks for asking and thanks for being so thoughtful! In this season of giving, there are undoubtedly many people who are looking for ways to give — and they don’t all have to involve a writing a check! In fact, here are three options that immediately come to mind. All three ways will enable you to do shopping you already need to do this time of year AND help benefit The Watershed Foundation.

Target Circle

Target Circle selected The Watershed Foundation as one of a handful of non-profits they are supporting this holiday season. Now through December 31, 2022, vote for us through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up. You can vote for The Watershed Foundation multiple times! Kroger

Did you know that you can connect your Kroger shopper’s card to The Watershed Foundation? You can! Simply choose The Watershed Foundation from the eligible non-profits and a portion of what you spend quarterly is donated to The Watershed Foundation. Amazon Smile

Your online shopping through Amazon could help TWF year-round as well! Simply select TWF as the charity you want to support through the Amazon Smile program and a portion of the money you spend shopping on Amazon will benefit TWF. And….there is one more special opportunity right now!
Make A Splash 25th Anniversary Match
For the next 6 months, TWF has another match opportunity. This one is for NEW DONORS from our newer watershed area only. The first $25,000 in contributions by new donors in the Warsaw, Chapman, Center, Pike, and Winona Lake areas will be matched by a grant from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and an anonymous donor.
